The workshop was held at the Kenya School of Monetary Study (KSMS) and organized by the School of Technology in conjunction with the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence as part of the Kenya Norway Mobility (KeNoMo) project activities.

The workshop triggered research interest on discrete event modeling using Petri nets among faculty members. The target group was all the full-time School of Technology Academic staff members.

The event was facilitated by a visiting Professor from the University of Stavanger (UiS) – Prof. Reggie David Ranjurah.
