The training was held at Panorama Park Hotel in Naivasha and the target group was the Deans and Chairpersons of the academic division.

Transformative pedagogy is an innovative pedagogical approach that empowers learners to critically examine their contexts, beliefs, values, knowledge, and attitudes with the goal of developing spaces for self-reflection, appreciation of diversity, and critical thinking.

The objective of this workshop was to facilitate participants to acquire knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for effective University course design, online pedagogy using digital tools and appropriate resources, and assessment for learning. The participants were set up in only one cohort.

The training was attended by 17 participants and was facilitated by Prof. Khaemba Ongeti and Prof. Wanjira Kinuthia.
