On February 6th, 2024, the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE) committee held a virtual meeting. The agenda focused on welcoming new members and familiarizing them with the committee’s responsibilities. Additionally, the committee reviewed the CTLE’s 2023 report and discussed and approved the work plan for 2024.
The School of Education, Arts and Social Sciences, in collaboration with the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE), hosted a workshop from February 7th to 9th, 2024, at Sports View Hotel Kasarani. This workshop focused on aligning teacher education programs with the standards set forth by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and the Commission for University Education (CUE).

More than 120 faculty members have completed a 3- module Pedagogical Leadership in Africa (PedaL) faculty enhancement workshop that was facilitated by the university’s Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE) in collaboration with the Partnership for African Social and Governance Research (PASGR).

Friday the 10th of March, 2023 marked the end of a 3 weeks. KCAU-PASGR PedaL Training on Course Design, Facilitation and Innovative Assessments in a Blended Learning Environment. It was a pleasure to have The DVC – ASA Prof. Joshua Bagakas close this resourceful training that was held at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD).
