Welcome to the Center of Teaching and Learning Excellence at KCA University. Anchored as a Committee of the University Senate, the CTLE’s Committee’s major function is to provide policy direction and act as a strong advocate for CTLE throughout the University. More importantly, the Committee contributes to the policy framework, the annual plan, and strategic planning. Having recognised the importance of strategic planning in setting the pace for the establishment of a functional center of professional pedagogy, the Committee working with the secretariat approved and participated actively in the development of the Strategic Plan 2022-2026 and remains committed to ensuring that the same is implemented within set timelines. The CTLE Strategic Plan builds on the wider KCA University strategic pillars and through a rigorous process of stakeholder engagement and needs analysis, it is expected to generate and sustain buy-in from major internal and external stakeholders who are critical to the conceptualization, implementation and evaluation of its success. KCA University takes cognisance of the rapidly changing higher education environment and proposes innovative strategies towards achievement of excellence in university teaching and learning. The CTLE Committee expects that successful actualization of the CTLE Strategic agenda will result in overall attainment of University vision, mission and philosophy, that are premised on making KCAU A Premier Business and Technology University of choice.
