CTLE Department Retreat

CTLE provides typical online activities and teaching tools to help new and experienced faculty to plan and effectively execute blended courses. These includes recorded training workshop videos, syllabus resources, teaching tips, inclusive practices, simulations, tools, guides etc.
The retreat was held at Panorama Park Hotel in Naivasha and was attended by 5 participants who were the 3 CTLE staff and 2 CTLE committee members, and was opened by Prof. Joshua Bagaka’s – DVC, Academic & Student Affairs.
The CTLE members were;

The objective of the retreat was to;
- Review of 2022 Work Plan and lessons learnt
- Review of PASGR collaboration
- Develop Academic year 2023 workplan in line with:
- the academic division strategic direction
- CTLE strategic plan
- schools’ training needs/gaps
- Conceptualization of KCAU teaching and learning policy
- Conceptualization of postdoctoral certificate in University pedagogics (teaching and learning)
- Conceptualization of a standard blended learning environment Course outline
