Training on Effective Postgraduate Supervision

The training was held at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies (KSMS) and the target group was all lecturers teaching Masters and Ph.D. programmes.
The objective of this workshop was to facilitate participants to acquire knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for effective supervision of postgraduate students conducting research and writing theses. The participants were set up in one cohort.
By the end of the training, the participants were expected to have the knowledge to improve on how they relate with students doing their thesis by engaging them throughout their research.
The training had on Day one 39 participants and on Day two 31 participants and the facilitators were Prof. Joshua Bagakas – DVC, Academic & Student Affairs and Prof. Khaemba Ongeti.
